Marina is a determined, practical, and empathetic advocate. She is known for her exceptional communication skills and her ability to break down and synthesize complex ideas. She is passionate about advancing her clients’ interests and crafting creative legal solutions to suit their needs. Prior to joining Colson Winterstein LLP, Marina articled with a large private sector organization where she worked on a broad range of civil litigation.

Marina represents clients in a variety of employment law matters including wrongful dismissals, constructive dismissals, human rights complaints and workplace investigations. 

During law school, Marina worked at Infojustice Manitoba, a legal information centre which provides information, support, and referral services to French speakers. She also clerked at the Manitoba Court of King’s Bench, and represented the University of Manitoba in the Laskin Moot Court Competition.

Marina is passionate about access to justice in French, and is a member of l’Association des juristes d’expression française de l’Ontario.

Outside of the office, Marina enjoys exploring Toronto’s many diverse neighbourhoods, socializing with friends, dog-sitting, and searching for the city’s best baked goods.
